Dermal Therapies
Everyone’s skin is different, and everyone will have different skin goals. At Medical Aesthetics, we offer COMPLIMENTARY consultations to give you access to our highly trained Dermal Therapist who will provide you with all the information you need to know about the treatments that are best suited to you. And, through a personalised treatment plan, we’ll work together to help you achieve your skin goals.
The importance of preparation and aftercare is to ensure that you receive maximum results with minimal side effects to the treatments we offer.
Each person’s skin is different – so your response will vary, but the majority of our skin treatments require no downtime. Our Dermal Therapist will take you through a post-treatment care regime that will fast-track your results.
Cosmetic Injectables
To determine the correct dosage, we advise you to book in for a complimentary consultation with our Senior Aesthetic nurse.
The most common side effects occur within 24 hours or immediately post-treatment. These include swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness. Immediate side effects usually disappear within days. However, depending on the type of Dermal Filler used, it can take a few weeks. At Medical Aesthetics we strongly encourage a complimentary four week post-treatment review appointment to discuss your treatment results.
At Medical Aesthetics, a prescriptive strength topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the area pre-filler treatment for your comfort. The filler we use in clinic also contains anaesthetic for maxim comfort during your procedure. We want you to be as comfortable as possible, and we believe we achieve that for our clients.
